Faculty Coaching Groups

A Faculty Coaching Group is a professional development resource. An experienced coach designs and leads each discussion, facilitates reflection, and develops strategy to address the challenges, demands, and dilemmas of a career in academia.

A Coaching Group consists of 6-8 participants who meet for a designated number of 60-90 minute online sessions. A single Coaching Group series typically involves 3-12 sessions. Once a series is complete, participants may renew as a group or join a new group if additional support is found to be useful.

Faculty Coaching Groups may be topic specific or open. They provide an unusual opportunity to build connections with peers and develop a deeper understanding of self and of the academic culture and environment.
